Safety

In a world where the vulnerable continue to be exploited, the Church must take action in safeguarding the physical, emotional and spiritual health of every person in its care.

EMMANUEL AS A SAFE PLACE

We want everyone to have confidence in their safety when engaging at Emmanuel. This includes their physical safety during an emergency and protection against abuse.

PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN AND YOUTH

It is of utmost importance that we safeguard children and youth from any form of misconduct. This includes screening, training, interacting, monitoring and responding with care.

REPORT MISCONDUCT

Anyone who observes or experiences sexual harassment or any kind of wrongdoing at Emmanuel can and should report it. Our church wardens prioritize communication and care to all parties involved.
